Intermittent illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine Light.
Occasional abnormal shifting behavior, such as harsh or delayed shifts.
Inconsistent or unpredictable transmission performance.
Other related intermittent fault codes may be present.
Loose or poor electrical connection in the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'F' circuit
Wiring or connector problem in the sensor/switch circuit
Intermittent fault in the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'F'
Faulty transmission control module (TCM)
Hydraulic Pressure Sensor: Hydraulic oil is needed for the gear lubrication system. This sensor measures oil pressure. This car's sensor has a problem which may cause difficulty in shifting gears
Inspect the wiring and connectors in the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'F' circuit for any damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Repair or replace as needed.
Check for any intermittent faults in the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'F'. Replace if necessary.
Verify the proper operation of the transmission control module (TCM) and perform any required repairs or updates.
