Illuminated Check Engine Light
Transmission may shift harshly or exhibit erratic shifting behavior
Reduced performance and acceleration
Possible transmission overheating
Possible transmission slipping or failure to engage gears
Faulty pressure control solenoid C
Wiring or connector issues in the solenoid circuit
Low transmission fluid level or poor quality fluid
Internal transmission mechanical problems
Faulty transmission control module (TCM)
Pressure Control Solenoid: This solenoid regulates the oil flow in the transmission. Problems with this solenoid lead to engine misfire, poor fuel economy, poor acceleration
Inspect and replace the pressure control solenoid C if necessary
Check and repair any wiring or connector issues in the solenoid circuit
Ensure the transmission fluid level is correct and the fluid is in good condition
If internal transmission problems are detected, further diagnostics and repairs may be required
Test and replace the transmission control module (TCM) if deemed faulty
