Check Engine Light illuminated
Erratic or harsh shifting of the transmission
Transmission slipping or poor acceleration
Reduced fuel efficiency
Transmission stuck in a particular gear
Faulty pressure control solenoid 'B'
Open circuit in the control wiring for the solenoid
Loose or corroded electrical connectors in the solenoid circuit
Damaged or broken wires in the solenoid circuit
Malfunctioning transmission control module (TCM)
Possible
Pressure Control Solenoid: This solenoid regulates the oil flow in the transmission. Problems with this solenoid lead to engine misfire, poor fuel economy, poor acceleration
Inspect and test the pressure control solenoid 'B' for proper operation, and replace it if necessary
Check the control wiring for any open circuits, and repair or replace as needed
Ensure the electrical connectors in the solenoid circuit are securely connected and free from corrosion
Inspect the wiring harness for any damaged or broken wires, and repair as necessary
Test the transmission control module (TCM) for any faults or errors, and reprogram or replace if required
