Inspect and clean the transmission control module (TCM) connectors, ensuring proper connection and eliminating any dirt or corrosion.
Test and, if necessary, replace the shift solenoid L control circuit.
Inspect and, if required, replace the transmission range sensor.
If all else fails, consider replacing the transmission control module (TCM) itself.
