Description:

  • The fault code P0825 indicates that there is a high circuit issue with the gear lever push-pull switch for the paddle shifters. This may cause the automatic transmission to not shift gears properly or not at all.

Possible Symptoms:

  • Automatic transmission not shifting gears properly or not at all

  • Illuminated check engine light

  • Failure of the paddle shifters to engage or disengage the selected gear

  • Inability to use the paddle shifters to change gears

Possible Causes:

  • Faulty push

  • pull switch circuit

  • Open or shorted wiring or connections in the circuit

  • Corroded or loose electrical connections
