Transmission Downshift Sensor: Downshift sensor is responsible for monitoring the gear system when the gear is shifted from a higher to a lower gear. Problems lead to difficulty in shifting gears
Replace the up and down shift switch
Check and repair any damaged wiring or connections
Tighten or clean any loose or corroded electrical connections
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary
