Difficulty in shifting gears
Clutch slippage or failure to engage/disengage
Illuminated check engine light
Poor acceleration or reduced engine power
Malfunctioning clutch position sensor
Wiring or connection issues in the clutch position circuit
Faulty clutch actuator
Damaged or worn clutch disk or pressure plate
Low clutch fluid level or contaminated fluid
Failed transmission control module (TCM)
Clutch Position Sensor: A clutch position sensor monitors the position of the clutch pedal. Problems lead to inefficient clutch operations & difficulty in gear shifting
Replace the malfunctioning clutch position sensor
Check and repair any damaged wiring or connections in the clutch position circuit
Replace the faulty clutch actuator
Replace the damaged or worn clutch disk or pressure plate
Check and refill the clutch fluid to proper levels, and replace if contaminated
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary
