  • Low transmission fluid level

  • Dirty or contaminated transmission fluid

  • Poor electrical connection for shift solenoid

  • Valve body assembly faulty

Possible Solutions:

  • Inspect the transmission fluid with a dipstick

  • After the transmission is rebuilt, if needed, fill it with fluid enough to fix any leaks
