Harsh or delayed shifting
Transmission slipping or not shifting at all
Illuminated check engine light
Overheating transmission
Decreased fuel efficiency
Failed pressure control solenoid 'A'
Faulty wiring or connections in the circuit
Corroded or damaged transmission fluid lines
Low or dirty transmission fluid
Failed transmission control module (TCM)
Pressure Control Solenoid: This solenoid regulates the oil flow in the transmission. Problems with this solenoid lead to engine misfire, poor fuel economy, poor acceleration
Replace the pressure control solenoid 'A'
Check and repair any damaged wiring or connections
Clean or replace any corroded or damaged transmission fluid lines
Change the transmission fluid and filter, and ensure it is at the correct level
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary
