  • Issue in automatic transmission in shifting between normal driving mode and performance driving mode

Possible Symptoms:

  • Poor start

Possible Causes:

  • Faulty transmission mode switch

  • Faulty switch wiring and or connectors

  • Transmission Shift Sensor: Gear Shift Sensor communicates the position the gear shifted to. Problems lead to difficulty in shifting gears

Possible Solutions:

  • A visual inspection of the transmission mode switch will be first, paying close attention to corrosion or liquid intrusion

  • Inspect for poor connections at the solenoid

  • Inspect for poor connections at the PCM
