Description:

  • ECM (car computer) not able to read battery signals, and thus may not be able to do its job properly

Possible Symptoms:

  • Stop lights may be inoperative

  • Engine may stall when coming to a stop, engine misfire, sag, stall, or hesitation

  • Car may hesitate while accelerating

Possible Causes:

  • Battery charge

  • Faulty Generator

  • Generator harness is open or shorted

  • Generator circuit poor electrical connection

  • Engine Control Module (ECM) controlled generator

  • Faulty ECM
