Description:

  • ECM (car computer) not able to read coolant temperature sensor signals, and thus may not be able to do its job properly

Possible Symptoms:

  • Check Engine Light/MIL will be on

Possible Causes:

  • Faulty Coolant Temperature Sensor

  • Coolant Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted

  • Coolant Temperature Sensor poor electrical connection
