Illuminated check engine light
Reduction in fuel efficiency
Rough idle or stalling
Poor engine performance
Failed oxygen sensor
Faulty wiring or connections in the circuit
Loose or corroded electrical connections
Exhaust leaks before the sensor
Failed engine control module (ECM)
Oxygen Sensor: This is one of the parts that fails very commonly. It measures the amount of oxygen to ensure proper combustion. Problems in the Oxygen Sensor lead to poor fuel economy
Replace the oxygen sensor
Check and repair any damaged wiring or connections
Tighten or clean any loose or corroded electrical connections
Repair any exhaust leaks located before the oxygen sensor
Replace the engine control module (ECM) if necessary
