Reduced fuel efficiency
Illuminated check engine light
Rough idle or stalling
Engine hesitation or misfire
Damaged or faulty HO2S sensor
Wiring issues in the sensor's control circuit
Damaged or corroded connections in the control circuit
Malfunctioning powertrain control module (PCM)
Heated Oxygen Sensor: This is one of the parts that fails very commonly. It measures the amount of oxygen to ensure proper combustion. Problems in the Oxygen Sensor lead to poor fuel economy
Replace the HO2S sensor
Inspect and repair any damaged wiring or connections in the control circuit
Clean and tighten any corroded connections
Replace the powertrain control module (PCM) if necessary
