Description:

  • The fault code P0039 indicates that there is an issue with the circuit that controls the bypass valve for the turbocharger or supercharger. This may cause a decrease in engine performance and/or fuel efficiency.

Possible Symptoms:

  • Decreased engine performance and/or fuel efficiency

  • Illuminated check engine light

  • Whining or hissing noise from the engine

  • Boost pressure may be erratic or inconsistent

  • Failed bypass valve

  • Faulty wiring or connections in the circuit
