Check Engine Light illuminated
Reduced engine power and acceleration
Turbocharger or supercharger not functioning properly
Poor performance during acceleration
Decreased fuel efficiency
Faulty turbocharger or supercharger bypass valve
Wiring or connector issues in the bypass valve control circuit
Low voltage supply to the bypass valve control circuit
Faulty engine control module (ECM)
Turbocharger/Supercharger: Turbocharger compresses in more air into the engine, hence producing more power output. Problem leads to power loss
Test and replace the faulty turbocharger or supercharger bypass valve, if necessary
Inspect and repair any wiring or connector issues in the bypass valve control circuit
Ensure the bypass valve control circuit is receiving proper voltage supply
Test and replace the engine control module (ECM) if it is determined to be faulty
